[She laughed when he teased her, though her cheeks did warm a little in memory.]

I guess that stuff was stronger than I expected. I've never really drank before...

[But it had come in handy... for other things.

Aerith tilted her head then, her smile one of curiosity.]

You did mess up. But so did I. I accept your apology if you accept mine. Then we can move on and maybe actually get to know each other?

You're a friend of Mina, right?

Good. Drinking's for morons.

[From first impressions, Aerith didn't really strike him as the type. But you never know. First impressions are deceiving, so he doesn't judge people for it.

He shrugged a bit awkwardly, taking a sip of the tea. It was good.]

Yeah, whatever.

[It was something he'd have to do, right? Get to know people here. Aerith wasn't so bad when she wasn't drunk, so even if it was weird for him to make friends outside of some of his classmates, he could do this.]

Ashido? Yeah, we're in the same class.

Drinking that much is for morons. Though I didn't think I had...

[She was a lightweight of course, but Aerith was going to be more careful next time.

Aerith smiled then, brighter.]

I thought so. She's nice.

Hm. Next time drink less.

[Alcohol is one of the few things Katsuki knew shit about. He probably would have ended up like Aerith if he tried.]

She's an idiot. But she's still my classmate.

[He answered automatically, though there was no malice in his voice.]

[She answered him cheerfully and laughed before taking a sip of her tea. Aerith's head tilted a little then.]

She seemed very sweet to me. And friendly. I like her a lot. Do you have, what did she call it? Quirks? Do you have one of those too?

[Katsuki grumbled before putting down the cup.]

You would like her. [He snorted, holding one palm up and allowing sparks to pop from it.]

Yep. She can produce acid, and I can blow shit up.

[Aerith raised a brow. Was he always so aggressive?

She watched him curiously, the sparks... Then she smiled.]

I can heal. I can use magic.

Magic doesn't exist!

[He rolled his eyes. But he didn't doubt Aerith could heal.]

How much can you heal?

[Aerith had to laugh. Mina had said something similar, but had protested that what she did wasn't magic. But to just plain tell her that magic didn't exist?]

In my world it does. And a great deal.

I can't bring people back from the dead... but I can heal and protect, I can dispel poison and the effects that monsters can induce upon people.
