Voice.
I made something so where the fuck do you live?
no subject
... Why do you need to know where I live?
Uhm... [She hesitates and then gives him her address. It's not as if he could do anything, not with Sephiroth around.]
no subject
...I'll be there in a few minutes. Not asking to talk to you if you don't want. Just have to drop off something.
no subject
[She was VERY puzzled about what was happening here, but she'd open the door to him if he came to her home.]
no subject
He shifted on his feet awkwardly. looking down at her.]
Uh. Here.
no subject
What she didn't expect was for him to hold out a plate for her. Automatically she took them before she even registered what they were. When she did, she smiled. The relief was plain.]
These look lovely. Uhm... did you want to come inside? I could make you some tea? Or coffee if you drink that?
no subject
[Katsuki grunted awkwardly. They just looked like normalass cupcakes to him, nothing special, but at least she wasn't yelling at him. He wouldn't have blamed her if she did.
Oh. She was the polite type of person. Of course she was. Katsuki shrugged. It would have been easier if she had just punched him.]
Whatever's fine- You don't gotta invite me just because it's polite. I'm the one who...
[Fucked up. Exploded. Why were apologies so fucking hard? Katsuki snarled in irritation, scrubbing a hand through his hair.]
I won't fucking bother you. That's all I mean.
no subject
I thought I was being friendly...
[Aerith smiled and stepped to the side, gesturing for him to enter.]
Come on. I'll make you a drink. Then maybe we can talk some? I promise I won't antagonise you again.
no subject
[Being friendly when you're not friends??? He doesn't understand. Yet his feet betray him, walking into Aerith's place stiffly and glancing around.]
Fine... I'll have whatever you have. I wouldn't care if you did.
[He would definitely care but he'll never admit that.]
no subject
Well I'll be having tea. Is that okay with you? How do you take it?
[As she called over to him she pulled down two cups and got the kettle to boiling.]
no subject
Just plain's fine.
[What was he doing here...?]
no subject
I like cream and sugar in mine. Not too sweet though!
[She chatted as she made the tea and considered offering him something to eat, but given how much arm twisting it was just to get him to agree to a drink, Aerith decided not to.
Baby steps!
She carried the two cups out and set on before Katsuki on the coffee table and moved to sit herself down in the other couch. Aerith tucked her legs under her and smiled warmly.]
So... firstly, I'm glad you came. I really wanted to apologise to you. The other night I was... a little tipsy and I think I might have been more than a little rude to you. I didn't mean to make you angry.
no subject
[Katsuki answers, mumbling a "thanks" when Aerith brings him the cup. He holds it for a moment, warming his palms and enjoying the steam. It also gives him something to focus on other than the conversation.
He's not the best communicator.]
I wasn't gonna say nothing, but you did reek of booze.
[He jokes, finally taking a sip and smirking before his expression falls into a scowl.]
But stop apologizing. I'm the one who-
I fucked up. I'm over it if you are.
no subject
I guess that stuff was stronger than I expected. I've never really drank before...
[But it had come in handy... for other things.
Aerith tilted her head then, her smile one of curiosity.]
You did mess up. But so did I. I accept your apology if you accept mine. Then we can move on and maybe actually get to know each other?
You're a friend of Mina, right?
no subject
[From first impressions, Aerith didn't really strike him as the type. But you never know. First impressions are deceiving, so he doesn't judge people for it.
He shrugged a bit awkwardly, taking a sip of the tea. It was good.]
Yeah, whatever.
[It was something he'd have to do, right? Get to know people here. Aerith wasn't so bad when she wasn't drunk, so even if it was weird for him to make friends outside of some of his classmates, he could do this.]
Ashido? Yeah, we're in the same class.
no subject
[She was a lightweight of course, but Aerith was going to be more careful next time.
Aerith smiled then, brighter.]
I thought so. She's nice.
no subject
[Alcohol is one of the few things Katsuki knew shit about. He probably would have ended up like Aerith if he tried.]
She's an idiot. But she's still my classmate.
[He answered automatically, though there was no malice in his voice.]
no subject
[She answered him cheerfully and laughed before taking a sip of her tea. Aerith's head tilted a little then.]
She seemed very sweet to me. And friendly. I like her a lot. Do you have, what did she call it? Quirks? Do you have one of those too?
no subject
[Katsuki grumbled before putting down the cup.]
You would like her. [He snorted, holding one palm up and allowing sparks to pop from it.]
Yep. She can produce acid, and I can blow shit up.
no subject
She watched him curiously, the sparks... Then she smiled.]
I can heal. I can use magic.
no subject
[He rolled his eyes. But he didn't doubt Aerith could heal.]
How much can you heal?
no subject
In my world it does. And a great deal.
I can't bring people back from the dead... but I can heal and protect, I can dispel poison and the effects that monsters can induce upon people.
